| How is recombinant Factor VIIa supplied? |
| |
Recombinant Factor VIIa is supplied as a sterile white lyophilized powder in single-use vials. It has a relatively long shelf life: the lyophilized form is stable for up to 2 years at 2-8°C. The product is available in two vial sizes, containing either 4.8 mg or 1.2 mg of recombinant Factor VIIa. After reconstitution with the appropriate volume of sterile water for injection, each vial contains approximately 0.55 mg/mL recombinant Factor VIIa. The reconstituted colorless product is stable for up to 3 hours either at room temperature or refrigerated. |
